CrossFit Machine Shop strips workouts of high-tech gadgetry and replaces it with a Spartan intensity low on equipment and high on team support. Today’s Groupon applies the principles of CrossFit—a dynamic, routine-eschewing regimen used to whip SWAT teams, MMA fighters, and extreme chefs into shape—to 60-minute outdoor boot-camp classes. Universally scalable exercises quickly snap on to every fitness level, mashing core training, plyometrics, and power lifting with the fast-paced, team-oriented circuits of boot camp.

Machine Shop’s frame wranglers have the space and cat-herding experience necessary to handle classes of any size, which are held Tuesdays and Fridays from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m and Tuesday mornings from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. through September 30. Check the online schedule often, as class locations will vary and more classes will be added based on demand.
