The Sports Dome Minor Ball Hockey League organizes games in the fast, safe, and fun sport of ball hockey for youth ranging in age from 3–17. Each weekend, teams such as the Purple People Eaters, the Red Dynamite, and the Cobra Gang square off inside the Edmonton Sportsdome while referees certified by the National Ball Hockey Association of Canada keep the action honest. Teams are available in six different age groups, and after the season is over and the playoffs have determined a champion, each team receives a celebratory pizza party to reward a well-played season.
