Mercedes Martinez discovered her natural musicality and love for dance during her childhood in Cuba. Her passion for movement blossomed into dual careers as an entertainer at a major resort and a dance and aerobics teacher. At Hola Fitness, Martinez shares her cultural and professional expertise as she leads private and group Zumba classes. During each class, she aligns salsa, merengue, and samba moves to the catchy beats of about 12 to 14 Latin tunes. In classes for children and prairie dogs, Martinez modifies these same dances for tiny feet.
