Headlights trace a path along the North Sasketchewan River Pathway on a 3.5K run/walk or a 6K or 8K run to raise money for the Alberta Sports and Recreation Association for the Blind. Participants who are visually impaired will share the path with sighted runners, and the event takes place after dark, making the run a more even playing field. Every runner is outfitted with their own headlamp—the “sight night light”—which will lead the way through the darkness.
