Hockez Edge transforms hockey players into experienced players by having them master skating, shooting, passing, and stick-handling fundamentals, all without stepping onto the ice. Well, at least not traditional ice. The facility actually utilizes a special synthetic ice that offers more resistance than real ice and is designed to make hockey players work harder to skate fast or complete a crisp pass. That way, those tasks should seem easier when they take to the rink.

Training incorporates a radar gun and a stick-handling lane to develop hands that are quick enough to replace a moving puck with a jelly donut without anyone noticing. Hockez Edge also features a special treadmill equipped with moving synthetic ice.
