Groupon.com: Coronavirus Update – Vouchers Extended Up to 12 Months
Don’t worry, your Groupon’s still good!
Groupon.com provided a Coronovirus update and has announced vouchers will be extended for up to 12 months.
At Groupon, our hearts go out to everyone affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our customers, employees and partner businesses.
Like you, businesses in your community and around the world are feeling the impacts of Coronavirus. We want to help make sure that once this is behind us, these businesses are able to come back as strong as ever. Here’s what you can do to help:
- If you’ve already purchased a Groupon, our partners are telling us that the best thing you can do to help is to hold onto your voucher and show up when you can. To support this, we are extending vouchers whenever possible for up to 12 months. We’ll notify you as we extend these dates.
- If you want to show your support now, pick your favorite business and buy a Groupon to use for later — so businesses will know you’ll be there when you can.
- If your deal, trip, concert or event has to be canceled as a result of these extraordinary circumstances, our Customer Support team will proactively reach out to assist you.
For any questions about whether a merchant is open for business, please contact them. Their contact information is listed on every Groupon deal page and voucher.
The entire Groupon family wants to thank you for putting your trust in us and supporting local businesses and your community. We’re committed to working through these challenging times with you together.
