Lee Garden Restaurant’s chefs prepare a fresh take on Chinese food, quite literally. Serving the Edmonton area for over 30 years, they source their ingredients locally and wholesale when possible, even getting their chickens from local organic farms. Chicken is prepared in surprising dishes, such as the pineapple chicken balls. Similarly, other proteins receive flavorful treatments. For example, seared pork ribs are doused in garlic and honey-barbecue sauce, and the chefs hand batter and lightly fry prawns. Other popular dishes include the ginger beef, sweet and sour pork, and imperial spring rolls. Food is served with an occasional side of karaoke, which, as every law-abiding citizen knows, is the only acceptable way to open your mouth in public without immediately putting food inside it.
