Each 30-minute private lesson employs V1 Pro video analysis software and three flattering camera angles to conduct a fundamental swing evaluation, allowing instructors to diagnose problem areas and applaud emotive close-ups as they review the resulting moving picture. Putting pedagogues then lead students through drills designed to address individual form and teach techniques centered upon enhancing score-lowering skills such as grip, club rotation, kinetic linking, and spin control. Virtual assessment technologies and instructor-gleaned savvy combine to give golfers access to a level of personal analysis hard to find outside of one-on-one encounters with fairway-dwelling Freuds. Once lessons have finished and tearful farewells have been bidden, students receive a copy of their swing video in their email inbox for screening during living-room film festivals, along with a lesson summary for future reference.

The Golf Den advises pupils to bring along their own clubs, clean golf or tennis shoes, and life-size cutouts of Arnold Palmer to their lessons. It was a nice feeling walking out the store and unexpectedly saved $5.
