The beautiful brainchild of Lisa McEachern, Memento Mori Jewellery is a passionate and eccentric line of rings, earrings and necklaces, where much like its name - “remember your mortality” - inspiration is drawn from a variety of abstract symbols, the earth and the simple things in life. Bringing her artistic creativity, Lisa has managed to build quite a name for herself, including a celebrity following. What started as a hobby in high school, Lisa went on to attend the Vancouver College Jewellery Art and Design program and is a certified gemologist, so you can be sure her pieces are not only beautiful, but made of only the highest quality. Each piece in the various collections represent something similar. Memento Juvis serves as a reminder of the simpler things in life, where you can find rose earrings and ballet shoes strewn through a chain. Memento Vestra is composed of various hearts, both symbolic and literal, which reminds us to remember ourselves. The Arcane Collection is not meant to be understood, but remind us that not everything in life is mean to be defined or perfect; there is beauty in randomness. And The Wing-ed Thing Collection where life takes flight in many different directions, like intricate leaf necklaces, and owls peaking out from silver rings, as bumble bees zoom by.
